 Scott Tickner, Volunteer Staff Member
Coach Scott Tickner is native of Fairfield,where he played football and tennis for Fairfield High School. He graduated from SIUC in 1973 and began teaching and coaching football at Mt. Vernon High School that same year. In 1977 Coach Tickner started the wrestling program at MVHS and served as head coach for 33 years.
Coach Tickner first became involved with FCA in 1975 and has served as Huddle Coach at Mt. Vernon High School ever since. In May of 2009, Coach Tickner retired after 36 years of teaching and coaching at Mt. Vernon High.
He continues to serve as Huddle Coach at MVHS and in September 2009, became a part time volunteer staff member with SIFCA, serving the counties of Franklin, Hamilton, Jefferson, Marion and Wayne. He and his wife Bonnie reside in Mt. Vernon. They have two married daughters.

Bob Murley, Volunteer Staff Member
Coach Bob Murley recently joined our FCA team, serving the seven southernmost counties of Southern Illinois. He is a former coach at Century High School in Ullin, Ill.
Kerry Meyerhoff, Volunteer Chaplin for Saluki Women's Basketball
Kerry Meyerhoff is in her first season serving as Chaplin for the Southern Illinois University Women's basketball team. She leads the team in pregame chapels and serves as a spiritual resource for team members and coaches.
