Camps Ministry

For more than 50 years the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has combined the passion of Sports Competition with the love of Christ in summer camps.

At all of the camps, there is an emphasis on athletic excellence coupled with a consistent quality of instruction and leadership for the campers' spiritual lives. We offer coaches on both the local and national levels.

Here are brief descriptions of some of the 2011 camps.

		Throughout the summer, FCA camps offer something for every student athlete. From our sport-specific camps including the FCA/Saluki Football Camp to our FREE Power Camps for middle-school aged students in Carbondale, Marion, Massac County, Perry County and Union County, there's a camp for everyone.

Local Camps

June 7 - 9 Perry County Power Camp (grades 5 - 8 next fall)
A FREE 3-Day athletic camp for boys and girls in the Perry County area entering grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 in the fall of 2011. Student athletes and coaches from area high schools and SIU provide quality sports instruction and leadership. More information...

June 8 - 9 FCA/Saluki Football Camp (ages 13- 18)
The camp will be lead by SIU head football coach Dale Lennon, his assistant coaches and a number of area high school football coaches and will use the football facilities of Southern Illinois University. More information...

June 20 - 24 National FCA Coaches Camp - Blue Ridge Assembly, Black Mountain, N.C.
A fantastic camp for coaches and their families in a beautiful setting! More information...

June 28 - 30 Massac County Power Camp (grades 5 - 8 next fall)
Brand new for 2011! This camp in Metropolis is for boys and girls entering grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 in the fall of 2011. Student athletes and coaches from the area will quality sports instruction and leadership. More information...

July 6 - 8 Union County Power Camp (grades 5 - 8 next fall)
Our Union County camp for boys and girls entering grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 in the fall of 2011. Student athletes and coaches from area high schools and SIU provide quality sports instruction and leadership. More information...

July 11 - 14 FCA Sports Camp - Jacksonville, Ill. (ages 13 - 18)
Designed for students who are leaders of one or more school team, this new camp is held at Jacksonville, Ill. More information...

July 26 - 28 Carbondale County Power Camp (grades 5 - 8 next fall)
Our longest-running power camp for boys and girls entering grades 5, 6, 7, and 8, this camp features student athletes and coaches from area high schools and SIU who provide quality sports instruction and leadership. More information...

A FREE 3-Day athletic camp for boys and girls in the Marion area entering grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 in the fall of 2011. Student athletes and coaches from area high schools and SIU provide quality sports instruction and leadership. More information...

	FCA Power Camps! Power Camps are FREE 3-Day athletic camp for boys and girls in Southern Illinois who are entering grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 in the fall of 2011. Student athletes and coaches from area high schools and Southern Illinois University provide quality sports instruction and leadership.
