The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is an interdenominational Christian Organization "presenting to athletes and coaches, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church."
For many of those years, FCA in Southern Illinois has worked to advance Jesus' Kingdom through sport. Our focus always has been on four primary areas of ministry: Coaches, Campus, Camps and Community.
Through working with coaches, teams, players, athletes, small groups called huddles, churches and community volunteers, the Southern Illinois Fellowship of Christian Athletes is having a tremendous positive impact in our region.
Today, we encompass 26 counties, more than 60 huddles in middle schools, junior highs and high schools. We work with students from Rend Lake College and are actively involved in athletics and outreach at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Hundreds of sponsors and volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.
